The Schwalbe Hans Dampf Super Trail 27.5” Tire is a popular trail and all-mountain style tire that has been upgraded with Schwalbe’s new Super Trail casing. Featuring moderately-large center blocks in a unique, alternating tread pattern, the Hans Dampf throws down loads of traction in various terrains and it’s large shoulder lugs provide excellent cornering abilities. Schwalbe’s Super Trail casing features a balance of protection, durability and low rolling resistance. The Super Trail casing is a midweight, 3-ply carcass layer enhanced with Apex and SnakeSkin protection, making for a tire that’s durable yet isn’t overly done or too bulky. Apex protection provides a layer of sidewall cut protection and adds lateral stability and SnakeSkin protection adds a layer of bead-to-bead puncture protection. Two rubber compounds are available for the Hans Dampf Super Trail 27.5” tire. The Addix Soft compound has extremely low rebound properties and offers loads of grip and traction, perfect for downhill and enduro riding. The Addix SpeedGrip compound provides the best balance of grip, durability, and speed of all Schwalbe Addix compounds and is perfect for cross-country, trail, or all-mountain riding. With Schwalbe’s TL Easy technology, you can leave the tubes behind and run your Hans Dampf tubeless for less weight and maximum traction.
